New Reserve Commander Announced

On Tuesday, August 11, 2015, Fulton County Sheriff Ted Jackson promoted Captain David Adcock to the rank of Major, effective immediately.  With the rise in rank, comes his appointment as Commander of the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office Reserve Unit.

Major Adcock is a twenty-nine year veteran of the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office Reserve Unit and holds a number of law enforcement certifications, including POST General Instructor, SWAT, First Responder, CPR instructor, HazMat Responder/Operator and High Risk Warrant training.  Major Adcock has served as a member of the Reserve Unit’s leadership since 1994.

Sherriff Jackson was accompanied by several members of his command staff, namely:  Chief Deputy Jimmy Carter, Colonel Leighton Graham, Lt. Colonel Maria McKee and Lt. Colonel Peter Andresen.

Chief Carter had the honor of pinning on Major Adcock’s new badge, while Lt. Colonel McKee attached his new insignia of rank to his epaulets.
